Help us welcome Coach Scott Adams back to Holly Pond Middle! Coach Adams does not need much introduction around here! He coached football and basketball, as well as taught at Holly Pond, for many years. We are excited to have him back on our campus half of the day, where he will be helping with workouts, intervention, and athletics. We are thankful to have Coach Adams back on our campus and working with our students again!

Congratulations to our counselor, Mrs. Allyson Fetters, on receiving the Program of Distinction School Counseling Award! 🎉 She was recognized this evening at the CCBOE board meeting and will receive her award in Columbus, Ohio later this year. We are so thankful to have Mrs. Fetters here at HPM. She works tirelessly to support our students socially and emotionally while helping keep our school running smoothly. Her dedication to our students, staff, and school does not go unnoticed! We are so proud of you!

Yesterday, we were able to meet with every faculty member on our Holly Pond campus before Open House! We are so thankful for the opportunity to come together and get ready for a great school year. We’re excited to welcome our newest Broncos! Join us for 6th Grade Open House & Orientation this Sunday, August 9, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. in the Alumni Gymnasium. This is a great opportunity to meet our faculty and staff, learn about life at Holly Pond Middle School, and get ready for an amazing school year. Holly Pond Middle School is excited to welcome School Resource Officer Terrianna Hays to the Bronco family! Officer Hays brings 10 years of law enforcement experience, serving in corrections, dispatch, patrol, the sex offender office, and now as a School Resource Officer for the Holly Pond campus. She is committed to helping provide a safe, welcoming environment where every student can learn, grow, and succeed, and she looks forward to building positive relationships with our students, staff, and families. Outside of work, Officer Hays is married to Gavin Hays, and they have four wonderful children. She enjoys watching sports—especially basketball—and loves spending time outdoors with family and friends. Please join us in giving Officer Hays a warm welcome. Go Broncos!

Thank you to Cullman Church of Christ Kids Ministry for spoiling our staff with a ton of back to school necessities. We appreciate you all taking time to invest in HPM!

Mr. Russell, our Assistant Principal, is representing HPM this week at the Innovative Schools Summit in Nashville! We’re excited for him to bring back new ideas and continued learning to our school. We look forward to the impact his experience will have on our students, staff, and school community!

We are getting ready for an amazing year! 🌍🗺️ Mrs. Bell is at American Village this week for the Pre-Contact & Age of Exploration ACE Institute, gathering fresh ideas and historical insights to bring back to our students! #BeGreat

Parents of 6th graders: Every incoming 6th grade student that has already turned 11 years old must have an up-to-date Tdap immunization form on file before receiving a schedule. These immunizations are required by the State. These can be received at the family doctor, most pharmacies, or an urgent care. Parents can drop these off by the school starting on July 28th, leading up to Open House on August 10th. Thank you!

Holly Pond Middle School is excited to welcome Jake Wooden to the Bronco family! Jake is 22 years old and was born and raised in Fyffe, Alabama. He graduated from Fyffe High School in 2023 and earned his Physical Education K–12 certification from Jacksonville State University this past May. He will be teaching Career Prep and assisting with our football program. Jake married his wife, Riley, last October, and they are excited to become part of the Holly Pond community. Please join us in giving Coach Wooden a warm welcome. We are excited to have him on our team. Go Broncos!

Mrs. Henderson is spending time at Troy University's Gulf Coast Conference on the Teaching of Writing in Orange Beach, expanding her knowledge and bringing back new ideas to benefit our students. We are thankful to have so many teachers who are committed to being lifelong learners and who are always willing to go the extra mile for our students. Thank you, Mrs. Henderson, for representing Holly Pond Middle School so well and for your dedication to continuous growth! #BeGreat

🏐 Welcome, Coach Ella Creel! 🏀 We are excited to announce that Ella Creel will be the new Head Coach of the Holly Pond Middle School Volleyball and Basketball programs next season! Coach Creel previously served as an assistant coach for both our middle school volleyball and basketball teams last season. Her dedication to our student-athletes, strong work ethic, and passion for the game have already made a tremendous impact, and we are excited for her to take the reins of both programs and lead our female student-athletes. We are confident Coach Creel will provide outstanding leadership while continuing to develop our student-athletes both on and off the court. We can't wait to see what the future holds for these two programs under her leadership! Please join us in congratulating Coach Creel as she begins this exciting new chapter. Go Broncos! #BeGreat

📚 Open Enrollment – July 28!

Holly Pond Middle School will hold Open Enrollment on July 28 for all new students entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade. If your child is new to Holly Pond Middle School, this is the perfect opportunity to complete the enrollment process and get ready for a great school year.
