
Our guest reader yesterday was our very own Mrs. Sparks! She read Green Eggs and Ham to our 3rd-grade students. Our lunchroom ladies also prepared green eggs and ham for lunch yesterday. Happy Read Across America Week!

Archery Results from Last Week! 🎯
The Elementary and Middle School Archery teams were both Regional Runner-ups last week at Boaz! We are so proud of you all!
Walker was the Elementary Regional Champion for the second year in a row!
Alex was the Middle School Regional Champion!
We will await results from other regions to see if these two teams will receive a bid to state.

We are having a school wide attendance challenge from March 3- April 4! Each week classes will compete to see who has the best attendance percentage! The winning homeroom will receive a pizza party! 🍕

We were able to recognize Heath Allbright, our outgoing board member, last night at the Varsity basketball game. Thank you for your service to our school over the past 8 years! We truly appreciate you.
We would also like to welcome Mr. Richard Hays as our new board member here at Holly Pond! He was sworn in last week at the CCBOE board meeting. We are excited to have you join us Mr. Hays!

The Varsity cheerleaders hosted a Mini Christmas Cheer Camp yesterday for grades K-6. The girls all did a great job performing at the Varsity game against Hanceville! 📣








Mrs. King made it out to see her first grader, Lincoln, perform in the Cullman Sheriff's Rodeo tonight. Great job Hot Rod!



The Scholars Bowl team competed in the Cullman County tournament yesterday at Wallace State. They came away with some wins and Jordan was named to the All Tournament team. He finished 3rd placed and was only ten points away from 2nd! Great job Jordan, Bethel, Nettie, and Mrs. Schnittker! We are are proud of you all!

“Sheriff Matt Gentry would like to invite everyone to this year’s Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Rodeo. It will be held Friday, December 13th and Saturday, December 14th at the Cullman County Ag Center. Gates will open at 5:00pm, kids scramble at 7:00pm, and the Rodeo starts at 7:30pm. There will be a link on our Facebook page that will provide the live stream of the event as well. You can also view it locally on Spectrum Channel 180 (My Cullman Television).
Tickets will be sold at the door. Sorry, but we are unable to pre-sale tickets. Adult $10, Child/Student $8, 6 and under are Free. ATM will be on-site as we are unable to process credit/debit cards at the venue.
