As you know, because our Covid-related absences were above 15% we have been requiring masks for two weeks. I am proud to say that our COVID-related absentee rate has come down considerably since we are not having to send students home as close contacts while wearing a mask. This is great because we want our students at Holly Pond K-8 to be at school and not have to learn remotely. Beginning Monday, masks will not be required at Holly Pond K-8 , but they will be highly recommended considering students do not have to be sent home if wearing a mask. Please consider having your child continue to wear his or her mask for a little longer. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.

Volleyball today at Vinemont!
The HP Band is hosting a BBQ fundraiser dinner this Friday night before the Homecoming game. Tickets are $12 and must be purchased prior to the event. Come eat with us or get a plate to go. See any band member to purchase a ticket.

Holly Pond Middle School vs Fairview Middle School Football game scheduled for Tuesday, September 7th has been rescheduled to Thursday, September 9th. The game is at Fairview and start time will be 5:30. #GoBroncos

Due to a large increase over the weekend. Holly Pond K-8 currently has an absentee rate above 15%. As a result. . . beginning Wednesday, September 1st it will be required for all students at Holly Pond K-8 to wear a mask while indoors. Masks will be required until our Covid Related absentee rate falls below 15 percent. If our numbers continue to rise, we will have to transition to remote learning. Parents, please create a backup plan now in case we have to close our buildings. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic.
Cullman County School campuses will be closed Tuesday 8/31/21 due to the threat of severe weather. Students and staff will work remotely.
Rescheduled-
Holly Pond Middle and JV football games scheduled for Monday, August 30th vs. Hanceville have been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 14th. Games are still at home and Middle School will begin at 5:00pm. Tickets previously purchased through GoFan will still be good for this event.
Our Annual Title I Parent Meeting will be August 24th in the library. Parents are welcome to attend at 8:30 or 3:30. If you have questions, please call the office.
Reminder- Please have student(s) charge their school issued chromebook(s) every night. We have had an increase in students coming to school with chromebooks having little to no battery life. Thank you for your help! #broncopride

Football Home Season Passes!
$15 for all 3 regular season home games.
We are going to be using the GoFan APP for Ticket Purchasing this year for all athletic events. This means to pay with cash you will need to purchase these season passes. You may purchase these passes in the Middle School Office.
