How many years have you worked at Holly Pond? -
I started subbing at Holly Pond in 1999. I have been an Instructional Aide/Physical Educational Aide for about about 6 years.

I would love to travel to Jerusalem.
What do you enjoy most about working in an elementary school? I love working as a Physical Education Aide because I have the privilege of seeing all the students everyday. I love being at Holly Pond because they have always treated me like I am family. I love everyone here. I am very blessed!
Mrs. Edmondon's class had a great time using math manipulatives to work on subtraction this week! We love seeing our students grasp skills, especially when they are having fun doing it!
The middle school volleyball season is in full swing and so is the elementary league. We are proud of all of our Bronco voleyball players! The youth league played Vinemont this weekend and came away with multiple match wins! Keep working hard!
Congratulations to Khison who competed at the Clay County Livestock Club Lamb Show this weekend! He placed 1st & 2nd in his Class of Market Lambs & 5th in his Breeding Class. Great job!
Bronco Brag🐴
Help us congratulate Cohen on a his "Bronco Brag"! Cohen always has the best and kindest personality. He picked up some much needed items for a classroom teacher that he does not even have class with just to help out! Cohen is constantly offering to sweep the floors, take out the trash, and help work to help our school in any way without being asked, and he never expects anything in return. He is friendly to all of his peers and so respectful to his teachers. It seems to make him the most happy when he is doing things for others and helping whenever he can. We are so proud of your leadership Cohen! Great job!

We want to welcome our new science teacher, Becky McCay to HP K-8. She will teach 7th and 8th grade science classes. She has over twenty years of experience. We are excited to have her join our faculty.
All new students will need to enroll tomorrow, July 26th from 12-5. All withdrawals will also be done at this time. New students must bring the following:
Birth certificate, SS card, Immunization record, and power bill with current address.
We are excited to welcome Jackie Black to our HP K-8 faculty! She will be teaching Kindergarten this year. She received her degree from Auburn University. She previously taught in Russell County in Alabama.
We would like to welcome Sophie Slaten to our Holly Pond K-8 staff. She will be serving as our speech and language therapist. She graduated from Holly Pond High School and is ready to start her teaching career with us.
